Visita d’estudis Coventry – Warwick Days 1 & 2

A group of six students have travelled to England to visit three primary school this is their report of the first ttwo days of their stay:

After having breakfast in our accommodation in Coventry, we met Gerry, a fantastic man from Liverpool who has guided us during the whole journey.

Then, we visited the first school called Howes Primary School in Coventry, the school where Paola made her university placement.

The teacher of year six, Jo, showed us around the school: its building and equipment, organisation and so on. We also had the chance of observing how a normal day in that school was.

During the second day we went to Cubbington, another state school placed in the suburbs of Coventry, where we had the opportunity to teach some short Spanish lessons to students in years four, five and six. Later on in the city centre, we enjoyed an English tea time and coffee.

In our spare time we were driven to Stratford Upon Avon, which is Shakespeare’s hometown and stroll for a while.

There, we learned different new vocabulary and facts thanks to Gerry, such as: Cygnet, river Avon and Shakespeare’s characters (Lady McBeth, Hamlet, Falstaff and Prince Hal.)
